Tactical Talk (Update) Latifullah Mehsud, whose death sentence among 13 hardened terrorists was ratified by the army chief today, had revealed in his confessional statement that New Delhi and Kabul both worked together against Pakistan.

Latifullah Mehsud, a close aide of former Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan supremo Hakeemullah Mehsud, would receive ransom from the families of people abducted by the militant group.
He gained significance within the TTP after Hakeemullah Mehsud took over the reins of the militant organization following the death of Baitullah Mehsud, for being a close aide of the new Pakistani Taliban chief.
The video of Mehsud confessing to his wicked crimes had surfaced in January, this year.
“The Indian and Afghan secret agencies both fanned terrorism in Pakistan,” he had revealed, substantiating Pakistan’s claims of Afghan soil being used for subversive activities inside its territory.
“These covert foreign agencies used TTP and other militant outfits as means for spreading terrorism inside the Pakistani territory,” Mehsud had told investigators.
Latifullah moved to Afghanistan after the killing of Hakeemullah Mehsud in a drone strike in Dande Darpa Khel village in North Waziristan in November, 2013.
He was apprehended by the United States (US) forces from Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province and handed over to Pakistan in 2014.
The highly wanted terrorist made shocking revelations while in custody of the Pakistani forces.
He was involved in killing of innocent civilians and attacking Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, which resulted in death of 150 civilians (members and attendees of local Jirga) and seven soldiers of Frontier Constabulary, according to the ISPR.
The convict confessed to his wicked offenses before a magistrate and the trial court, the ISPR said in a statement today. He was awarded death sentence, which along with 12 other convicts was ratified by the army chief on Friday.
